Heavy snowfall in occupied Kashmir kills 9, including 4 Indian soldiers

Srinagar (Sabah News): Four people, including four Indian Army personnel, were killed during a severe snowstorm in occupied Kashmir.

Snowfall continues in occupied Kashmir since the onset of winter, with normal life being suspended while 9 people have been killed in different incidents. Two Indian Army personnel were killed in fog in Kupwara district. Due to the traffic accident, two personnel were killed and 5 people were killed in different incidents. Weather forecast says one foot in Srinagar while 3 to 4 feet of snow was recorded in Kupwara, Shopian, Gandabal and Bara Mola. ۔ Due to inclement weather, the educational institutions have been closed while the communication system has been disconnected. All main roads leading to the occupied valley, Srinagar Jammu Highway, Srinagar Poonch Highway and Srinagar Kargil Highway have been closed due to snow. Where more than 2,000 vehicles have been trapped.
